At Lexington Glassworks, you can watch hand-blown glass masterpieces come to life before your eyes. Each piece is skillfully crafted using century-old techniques and local materials. The quality is reflected in each beautiful work of art. You won’t find anything short of excellent here! The 5,000-square-foot working studio also offers several benches to sit on while you watch the glassblowing process from start to finish.
2. Sip on Craft Beer
It’s no secret that Asheville’s craft beer scene is thriving. When you visit Lexington Glassworks, you can enjoy some of our best local beer out of a hand-blown glass. Their on-site taproom features a small selection of rotating local beers throughout the year. Choose your favorite, find a comfortable seat, and enjoy the show! The bar is open from Friday – Sunday from 2 p.m. – 6 p.m.
3. Shop for Unique Gifts
After you watch the artists at work, you can peruse the unique art and take some home with you! From ornaments and wine glasses to pottery and apparel, there is a little bit of everything. The studio is open Monday – Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sundays from 2 p.m. – 6 p.m. There is no glassblowing on Tuesdays.
