About the Tour
Canopy Ridge Farm is nestled in the beautiful Hickory Nut Gorge, just a stone’s throw from the eastern shoreline of Lake Lure. The park boasts six zip lines and offers guided 1.5-hour tours each day. Zip lines range from 500 to 1,000 feet in length and riders can reach speeds up to 35 mph and heights of 100 feet!
Traveling with the kids? No need to worry! Canopy Ridge Farm caters to children ages 4 and up. Their professional guides keep everyone safe and entertained while flying through the park.
Tips For Your Tour
- Make a reservation. Because each tour has a limited number of spots available, we recommend calling the park ahead of time at (828) 625-4500.
- Arrive early. Try to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your reserved tour time. If you arrive late, the tour will have to start without you!
- Bring a camera. Don’t forget to capture your adventure on your phone/camera and share it with your friends! If you’re worried about dropping your device, GoPro rentals are available for zip liners.

Gem Mining
Located directly across the street from the zip line office is The Gem Mine at Lake Lure. Here, you can pan for your own local gemstones on a beautiful covered deck overlooking the Broad River. The mine also sells local gourmet ice cream and retail merchandise. Be sure to check it out before or after your zipline tour.
Dining
Nothing works up an appetite quite like spending a day outside! When it’s time for lunch, head to the park’s resident food truck, Relish. You’ll find everything from blackened chicken salad to burgers on the menu. Combining Southern flavors and Tex-Mex flare, Relish offers reasonably priced meal options that will satisfy and fuel your entire family.
