A Private Dining Experience
The Chef’s Table is a new addition to our Restaurant at The Esmeralda Inn. The Table is located in a private dining room in the kitchen that allows guests to view the chef as he prepares their selected meal for the evening dining experience. Our amazing Chef Polo, our newest culinary team member, is not only a great chef, but also a fun showman as he creates your meal before you at your private table.
The Esmeralda Inn hosted the inaugural group to The Chef’s Table with guests that included restaurateurs and CEOS from Red Robin, McCallister’s, and Red Lobster. Former Rutherford County citizen and owner of two restaurants called City Range, Edna Morris was also in attendance. This first trial was the perfect opportunity to perfect our Table dining experience and to ensure that our guests will receive the very best!
The Chefs Table is available by reservation only and can accommodate up to eight guests. The Table’s menu features up to an 8-course meal with wine pairings for your private party.
Meet Chef Polo Alonso
Executive Chef Polo brings over two decades of culinary expertise to the Esmeralda Inn and Restaurant. His style is a unique blend of a western flare and comfort food – adapted for Southern Traditions. Polo’s menus are defined by using local meats and regional produce and he likes to pair wines with his cuisine. His specialty is wild game after living in Montana for 13 years and now he calls North Carolina his home. The Inn provides him and his culinary team with a private chef table nestled in the kitchen which is designed with a wonderful setting so that he can share some of his favorite dishes and wines as he cooks. Chef Polo looks forward to preparing your next unforgettable meal at The Chef’s Table!
