What is Asheville Beer Week?
Every year, the city of Asheville celebrates its local breweries in a big way! Asheville Beer Week is a beloved summer tradition that features award-winning craft beers, eclectic eats, music, and so much more. You can look forward to a variety of activities each day. In past years, Asheville Beer Week has included special bottle releases, food pairing events, and beer education workshops.

What is the Beer City Festival?
The Beer City Festival is Asheville’s premier craft beer festival. This event takes place on the last day of Asheville Beer Week. You can look forward to enjoying over 30 local breweries in one place. There isn’t a better way to get a proper taste of Western North Carolina’s craft beer scene!
Helpful Information for Planning Your Trip
- Asheville Beer Week 2019 begins on Friday, May 24. The Beer City Festival kicks off on Saturday, June 1!
- Admission to Beer Week is $45 per attendee. In addition to having access to live music, events, and more than 30 local breweries in one location, you’ll also receive an official Beer City Festival mug.
- At the festival, you’ll likely sample more than you originally planned. Always have a designated driver.
