Hendersonville is located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina. It is located 25 minutes from Chimney Rock on a plateau 2,200 feet above sea level.
Hendersonville is known as The City of Four Seasons. It was entered into the National Register of Historic Places in March of 1988. The historic district of Hendersonville offers traditional southern charm and beautiful scenery.
There are numerous events held in Downtown Hendersonville throughout the year. The North Carolina Apple Festival kicks off on Labor Day weekend to pay tribute to our area’s apple industry. Leaf-peeping events and a unique Arts on Main weekend are held in October. In November, the Holiday Lighting Celebration kicks off the Winter Holidays with a community gathering on Main Street.
